June News + Favourites

Dorothy Vannan

It seems like time is flying by! June is here and we are nearing the end of our landlord's renovations of 556 Academy Road. We're officially in the home stretch.

Although spring may be drawing to a close, there will never be an end to spring cleaning. But (fortunately) a line like The Laundress' line of economical, green, and easy to use home cleaning products make life just a little bit easier (and more beautiful).

Developed by Gwen Whiting and Lindsey Boyd, The Laundress was founded through their frustration of having to settle for fabric damaging laundry products as well as disappointing and toxic home cleaning products. I'm sure many of us have felt the same, and I've found great joy in using some of these products in my home already!

For your laundry, I love the All Purpose Bleach Alternative as a more gentle option to traditional chlorine bleach. This non-toxic, highly concentrated, biodegradable and fragrance free product works just as nice in your wash cycle as it does on your floors, tiles, sinks and other surfaces.

For your home surfaces, I would definitely have to recommend the Glass & Mirror Cleaner for a streak free shine. This non-toxic, unscented formula combines a high concentration of active ingredients, leaving windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces clear, shiny, and free of residue. They say a few sprays will improve your entire outlook (literally).

Summer (and our grand opening) is just around the corner, stay tuned!

With care,
